Ok, so my aspirations of feeling better and getting back in the gym have failed. I missed Th, Fr, Sat and most likely Sunday. Now, it appears that school will be closed for a couple of days. So, back to the gym with the kids tomorrow (kicking and screaming I'm sure).
I need inspiration from my friends. How have your workouts been? Is anyone going to the gym in the morning? If so; look for me and tell me to run faster- ha ha!
Hope everyone is enjoying time with the family and playing in the snow (214 calories are burned playing in the snow and building a snowman per hour).

Sorry to say I don't have anything inspiring to say about working out. I, too, have been sick. Looking to see how I feel later today before I try the elliptical. Don't want to cough my lungs up out of my chest!
ReplyDeleteBut... I decided y'day I'm going to start taking a multi-vitamin every day. Haven't done that in years. I've heard a couple people lately say that when they've not taken them they feel more tired, so maybe if I start taking them, I'll feel more energetic. Can't hurt at any rate.
Cloie - Saw your note about protein shakes in the a.m. I've not been doing that, but when I'm feeling "extra hungry" in the a.m., I've been trying to grab some quick protein like an egg or PB, and that really DOES seem to help. For those of you who haven't tried it, give it a shot.
