I guess we are going to have a few days of cold and rain. But I just looked at the 10 day forecast and watch out! Forget the lion....I see 80 degrees this week on the forecast!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. I need the fresh air therapy!
Well, I have to modify what I am doing. The p90x alone is not for me. I think I need to get back to the gym and supplement w. the videos. I don't have the discipline I need to really push myself. So, cardio at the gym and 1 body pump class a week at the gym.
Yesterday at work I was trying to help lift a 150 dog and messed my back up. I have to be careful this week. So, tomorrow I am going to the gym and going to walk on the treadmill and maybe the bike. No weights for fear of hurting. Not sure yet about Tuesday. I think I'll do the Kenpo video. Then Wednesday is suppose to be nice so for anyone interested I will be back at Central Park for 'the loop'.
Hope you ladies are all sweaty and happy. I've definetly fallen off the workout wagon this month. I need M-O-T-I-V-A-T-I-O-N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!

Can't help with the motivation right now. SORRY! My cough is getting worse even though I've been taking cough medicine and allergy medicine. Can't catch a good deep breath and sometimes I cough so hard I really do thing my lungs are goingt to come up out of my mouth. Keeping myself from over-using my inhaler is hard since it gives me fairly immediate relief. Haven't worked out since whenever I'd said I last worked out on the blog. Planning to go to the doctor tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHope your back feels better soon. That's one of those tricky injuries. I'm up for the Central Park loop on Wednesday (if I'm not in the hospital dying of pneumonia! ;->). No more jury duty, and it'll be my last chance for 10 - 14 days to do any kind of meaningful exercise.
Went to the doctor today. Got an additional inhaler. Feeling better. Hoping to be able to walk on Wednesday. What time and where in CP?
ReplyDeleteI can't help, I've fallen and I can't get back up...I know, that was bad. I'm hoping to hit the restart on April 1st. It's rather frustrating keeping my calories in line, but still not really losing any weight.
ReplyDeleteladies, ladies, ladies. we must get back into the groove. been getting up for a 45 min walk at around 4:45am( really strange but good all the same). have a mai tai, relax, regroup and get back on that horse....! that's my plan any way...6 hours is really hard to adjust to, if i haven't mentioned it yet.
ReplyDeleteI walked yesterday. It was hard. When I went to the Dr. y'day he said I had a "significant brochial episode" and that it would "take up to 6 weeks to fully recover." I think that's code for "you have viral pneumonia." Anyhoo... walked slower than normal and a shorter distance than normal and was tired when I finished. This really SUCKS!
