Ok, so I had a super busy weekend and could not blog but here I am. I am getting ready to go walk/run up to the high school.
Pam: I feel your pain. It's tough. Especially if you don't have a work out buddy. That's why I started blogging. I have lots of friends I work out with sometimes but nothing/noone consistently. It makes it hard. So, you have to find motivation inside yourself or for something greater than yourself. That's why last week I decided to try and get people together and walk/run the 1/2 in September for Margot. I'm sure you can do it. Just stop putting everyone else first (we moms are good at that) and JUST DO IT!
Cloie: I need to be where you're at in mileage. I haven't started seriously training so today I'm going to try and run as much as I can. Even if I puke my baked potatoe I had for lunch. Ha ha. Keep up the great work. RE: P90X, I'm using some tricep exerecises right now, but haven't dones the videos in a while. I need to get back on it!
As always, thanks for checking in ladies and stay sweaty!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeletewoo hoo! didn't yet, still gonna try to fit it in.....
ReplyDeleteGood for you! RUN, KATHY, RUN! Life is like a bowl of salsa; you never know if it's gonna be spicy, mild, chunky or smooth.
ReplyDeleteI guess today was a "rest day" for me since it's 10pm and I haven't done anything. My stomach is in knots right now (still) over the meeting I had at school this afternoon. Not working tomorrow, so I'll get something done then.
Just got back from about a 3 1/2 mile walk in the neighborhood with my dogs. Forgot to take my inhalers before I left and I still didn't die. WooHOo!
ReplyDeletenice goin. proud of you Pam. got a run in quick before pick up this morning after signing kids up for tennis downtown, didn't think I'd have anytime left, looooooonnnnnnnng line. think i clocked it at 2.7. better that a kick in the head, right?
ReplyDeleteWooHoo, Cloie! I think when I go on a walk tomorrow I'm gonna try to run on the flat parts in my neighborhood, which start about 3/4 of a mile from my house. I should be nice and warmed up by then.
ReplyDeletePam - From my house to the front of the subdivision (and back) is the distance of a 5K. 2 miles is 2 blocks before the pool (and back). I'm going to try and run when I get home today, have been busy at work, and home, so haven't been able to exercise this week, but have been doing a pretty good job at sticking to my 1200 calories.
ReplyDeleteRe-starting my half marathon training on May 1st.
