  2. YEAH, CLOIE!!! THAT'S AWESOME!

YEAH, KATHY FOR STICKING TO YOUR PROMISE!

NOW... I need you all to help me stick to exercising and being healthier in general. For 25 years or so I've made a habit out of NOT weighing myself. I used to weigh myself everyday in HS and when I went up just 1 pound I would freak, and I could never get below 136, and that was frustrating. So... I just stopped weighing myself. That really worked for me. I wasn't obsessed anymore and since I wasn't growing out of my clothes, I was o.k.

As an adult, occassionally when I'm at the doctor's office I'll sneak a peek at my weight, but that's about it.

Well... today I had a SHOCK! I mean a S-H-O-C-K! I now weigh 179 pounds (there! I said it). The heaviest I've EVER been is 183, and that was the week I delivered each of my children. So... needless to say, I felt like I was going to throw up. Especially since I've been eating better the past few weeks, and the month I was subbing in Caroline, I was eating well, too. I have NO idea where the weight is coming from. About 8 pounds of that has been in the past couple of months, and 10 pounds of it has been in the past couple of years.

Since I don't know where it's coming from, I can't eliminate the source. All I can do is stay focused on exercising and eating healthy.

So... beat on me. Make me work out, even if my asthma is kicking my butt. I want the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon to be my "victory tour."

If you don't have my phone number, send me a message on FB and I'll send it to you that way. I'm SERIOUS! CALL ME AND GET MY BUTT MOVING!

  4. I did 30 minutes on my elliptical yesterday and today... sort of... I got off several times each session to stretch, but I also increased the resistance to more than it's been before. Don't feel real strong when I'm working out; my legs feel like I've never exercised.

  5. Walked for about 25 minutes today. Nothing hard. Just a stroll in the 'hood. Planning to do some sit-ups and leg lifts tonight before bed. Skipping dinner tonight 'cause I didn't get up 'til 10:15 and had lunch at 3:30 and I'm not hungry, so I'm trying to not eat just for taste.

Saw Cloie at Wegman's today. She looks SMOKIN'!
