REGROUP!
Ok ladies, this snow has thrown us all off. I'm not sure what you all are up to with your workouts. I am WAY off and need to regroup and remotivate. I am using this weekend to do so. I haven't been blogging or working out consistently due to the kids/snow. So, this weekend is all about reworking my game plan! Summer is right around the corner ladies! Let me know how you're doing. Even if it's through email/fb. Cheers!

new plan, new plan. starting back to the P90x again on tues. my work out partner not engaged but promises to get there by monday....ran Cowan today...ugh, sucked but I did finish and made three miles. trying to get past 3, need to break this wall. thanks for keeping this goin Kathy, I need this.
ReplyDeleteI love the Cowan loop. We used to train there for the Avon 40 mile walk. BIG hill though! Awesome Cloie. If you ever want to meet there and walk let me know. We used to start at Toys R Us and go down to one and back up then a quick turn up central park towards outback. It's a good, long loop! I'm having trouble with the kids being home. Worries me for summer. I need to FOCUS on my diet too. I'm gaining, gaining, gaining!
ReplyDeleteOkay... so after my note to encourage all of you to exercise, I basically quit. Life has been N-U-T-S lately. I started a new job that's... well... challenging, and the kids have been busy with CYT. So... I'm hoping to get out of work ON TIME today and hit the elliptical before the kids get home. It's that, or a nap. I'm working on about 5 1/2 hours of sleep right now.
ReplyDeleteI've lost all focus I had, but am going back to the gym tonight! I don't think I've lost any weight over the "snow break," but then again I don't think I gained any either. I'm going to start walking, then go back up to running. Also, back to working on my diet, no more eating out!!
ReplyDeleteOkay... so HERE'S how crazy I am. I had to go to Target to get a refill on a prescription. While waiting I tried on some clothes (I could use some for work). The pants were fine but the shirts and dress I tried on looked H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. And... seeing myself 1/2 naked in a full-length mirror, I realized I have more rolls than a European bakery on Saturday morning. Then, when I got home, my gray roots were REALLY bugging me... SO... I colored my hair & I used the 35 minutes I had to wait before washing the color out to get on the elliptical for the 1st time in a while. I'm sure I looked like a freak because in addition to the color in my hair, I was wearing bicycle shorts and a too-short t-shirt (hey! I was at home!!!). I pray to the dear lord above that WHAT NOT TO WEAR was not secretly filming me!!!! But... now I feel better for working out. My grays are all covered up. And... I discovered that if you exercise with wet hair, you stay A LOT cooler!!!
